About Me
I'm David, an Information Security Lead with over nine years of experience protecting mission-critical systems - including safety-critical infrastructure within the UK's Critical National Infrastructure (CNI)
My career started on the front lines: Second Line Support, Third Line Support, Network Engineer. That hands-on foundation taught me how networks actually behave under pressure, which means I don't just assess risk from a policy document, I understand the operational reality behind it. It's also what lets me speak fluently with engineers, architects, and executives alike.
Today, at Resonate Group Ltd, I lead security governance across IT and operational technology (OT), driving ISO 27001 compliance, Cyber Essentials Plus, and the risk frameworks that keep safety-critical systems resilient.
